Verbatim Inc. Logo and Web site

Verbatim Inc. is a legal transcripting company based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, that needed to create a fresh new identity for itself. They also needed a website that would help their established clients submit requests for transcripts, while simultaneously broadcasting information about Verbatim's professional services.

The logo creation process settled on a simple speech bubble drawing; this proved to be the most eloquent way to sum up the abstract concepts integral to a transcribing company's services.

Verbatim wanted to avoid some of the connotations that come with an eye candy site. Instead, they opted to focus on a look that conveyed reliability, consistancy, and predicatablity, as these are the cornerstones of the transcription business. No one wants exciting transcripts.
