Fancy Lebanese Country Band

The Fancy Lebanese Country Band is a Halifax based hodge-podge of country, rock, irreverance, blues, whimsy, sarcasm, and good times. Such a band needs a special design to reflect such a unique flavour.

For the CD design I worked closely with the band's frontman Andrew Cull to develop an aesthetic and style that could encapsulate the spirit of the band. A blend of kitschy elements and tongue-in-cheek humour provided just the right balance..

The handbills were created for a show in 2006. This design was inspired by a number of "typo" coupons that were making the rounds in internet humour circles. The choice of ham was informed by its deliciousness.
