Anointment Natural Skincare is a Halifax-based manufacturer making all-natural, non-toxic, non-petroleum skincare products that work great--and leave you smelling of complex natural aromas.

Anointment Natural Skincare approached me to update a series of labels for their line of natural, handcrafted cosmetics. They wanted to convey a sense of natural organic cleanliness and purity. As a small company, Anointment wanted to maintain a consistant look across a broad range of container types and sizes. We decided that the colours and textures of the products themselves should be be allowed to shine through, and not be obscured by an opaque label. This lead to the extra consideration of how the colour of the contents would impact the legibility of the label. The final result is a clean professional look, and a soft organic character.
